Marvin P. Meyer, 63, of 1603 Wisconsin Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10 am Tuesday at Jens Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Meyer was born Sept. 15, 1910 at Manitowoc, son of the late Louis and Emma
Rahmlow Meyer. He attended Manitowoc schools and entered the Armed Forces in
May of 1942. He served with the 370th Fighter Squadron in the European Theater
and was discharged in November of 1945. He married Emma Hoffman Nov. 16, 1946
at Manitowoc. They were Manitowoc residents all their lives. She preceded him
in death in 1969. He had been employed by the Manitowoc Street Dept. from 1948
until his retirement in 1970.
Survivors include a brother, Clarence of West Allis; a sister, Mrs. Ester Beck
of Chicago and a step-sister, Mrs. Robert Zettel of Manitowoc. Friends may call
at Jens Funeral Home from 7 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening.
