DEATH TAKES ANOTHER OF OLD SETTLERS-MRS EMILY MICHELSON, HERE HALF
CENTURY IS DEAD, AGED 85
Another of the old settlers of the city had been claimed by death,
Mrs. Emily Michelson, who came here fifty-one years ago and had been
a resident of the city ever since, succumbing to the infirmities of
age this morning. Mrs. Michelson's death occurred at the home of her
daughter Mrs. JC Barrie, North Ninth street. Mrs. Michelson was born
in Norway 85 years ago and came to America at the age of 22, the famly
locating at Green Bay. Four years later she was married to Michael
Michelson, who procedded her in death fifteen years ago and the couple
took up their home here. Mrs. Michelson is survived by two daughters,
and three grand children. Mrs. Michelson was a womand who was loved
and admired by a large circle of friends.
