FERDINAND M. MILLER (d. 1969)

Ferdinand Miller, 72, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Monday at Memorial Hospital,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Miller was born Oct. 1, 1896, in the Town of Manitowoc, son of the late
Ferdinand and Louisa Zarn Miller, and he farmed in the township his entire
life. He married Edna Schultz June 24, 1922, at Two Rivers, and she died
Dec. 29, 1963.
Survivors include a son, (private); a daughter (private); a brother, George,
of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Carmen Brodtke of Cato and Mrs. Hildegarde
Plinske of Manitowoc; a grandson and three step grandchildren. Two sisters
and a brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Thursday until Friday noon and then at the church until the time of services.

Miss Edna Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schultz, town of Manitowoc
and Ferdinand Miller, Jr., also of the town of Manitowoc, were united in
marriage at Two Rivers today, the Rev. Haase, pastor of the Lutheran church
officiating at the ceremony. A reception is being held at the home of bride's
parents and after a short honeymoon trip the couple will return to make their
home on a farm in the town of Manitowoc.
