Ira Miller, 62, died at his home in Foresman on Wednesday morning after an extended illness.
Born in Chatsworth, Ill., on May 8, 1884, he came to the Foresman vicinity when he was seven years old. On May 1, 1911 he was united in marriage to Amy Dennis. For twenty-five years they lived in Chicago, returning to Foresman several years ago. Two sons were born to this union, Melvin and Eugene, who survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Hershman funeral home on Friday afernoon at 1:30, Rev. Thompson officiating and burial will be made in Riverside cemetery.
