WIDOW DIES AT RESIDENCE
Mrs. Rose Mittnacht, 42, To Be Buried Saturday
Mrs. Rose Mittnacht, 42, widow of Peter C. Mittnacht who was killed in an
accident on North Eighth street two years ago, died Tuesday afternoon at her
home, 715 North 10th street. While in failing health for some time she was
confined to her bed only since September.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the home and at 9
a.m. from the Sacred Heart church, of which congregation Mrs. Mittnacht was
a member. Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased was born in Manitowoc Rapids in 1891. Her maiden name was Rose
Kellner. She was married to Peter C. Mittnacht, a railway mail clerk in 1911
and except for one year at Fond du Lac always resided here. Mr. Mittnacht was
fatally injured when struck by a motor car on a north side street October 31,
1932.
Survivors are three sons, Cyril, Daniel and Paul, all of this city, a sister,
Mrs. George Mittnacht, Milwaukee, and a stepmother, Mrs. Mary Kellner of this
city.
The body was removed to the home from the Leschke funeral home this afternoon
and may be viewed until the hour of the funeral.
The Altar society of the Sacred Heart church of which Mrs. Mittnacht served
as treasurer for several years, will meet at the home Friday evening to recite
the rosary.
