LONG ILLNESS ENDS IN DEATH OF MRS MUELLER
Well Known West Side Resident Called to Her Rest
Death came to Mrs. Fred H. Mueller, Western Avenue, at 10 o'clock last night,
terminating an illness of several weeks which while serious, had not been
expected to prove fatal so soon. Mrs. Mueller suffered from dropsy and for two
days previous to her death, no hope had been entertained for her recovery. News
of her death will be shock to her friends.
Mrs. Mueller was 58 years of age and had made her home here practically all her
life. She was married to Mr. Mueller in youth and is survived by her husband
and two children, a daughter, Mrs. Alma Lord of Houston, Tex., and one son, Dr.
Arnold Mueller of McHenry, Ill., both of whom were at her bedside when the end
came. Mrs. Lord arrived yesterday.
A large circle of friends will learn of Mrs. Mueller's death with keen regret.
She was a woman whose kindness of heart and devotion to her family and home had
been marked characteristics of her life and she will be missed not only at the
home but by all who knew her. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from the
late home, Western Ave., and Eighteenth Street.
