He was born May 6, 1914, in Piper City, a son of John and Rose O'Donnell Rebholz. He married Geraldine Benway. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are one brother, Jerome (Evelyn) Rebholz, Piper City; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister preceded him in death.
He was a farmer and trucker and had worked for F.S. Services.
He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He volunteered many hours of services at Bradenton Hospital and Airport. He enjoyed wood carving.

Francis Rebholz, 88, Bradenton, died Feb. 28, 2003.
He was born May 6, 1914, in Piper City, Ill., and came to Bradenton in 1947 from Chatsworth, Ill. He was a truck driver for F.S. Producers Seed Co. in Piper City for 20 years. He was a former member of the Civil Conservation Corps in Illinois during the 1930s. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bradenton and a former member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Chatsworth.
Survivors include a brother, Jerome of Piper City.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, with a memorial Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth. Inurnment will be at Strawn Cemetery, Strawn, Ill., after the Mass. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, and Hager Funeral Home, Chatsworth, are in charge.
