Funeral for Albert L. Slusher, 74, will be at 2pm today at First Baptist church, Newcastle, with burial in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, directed by Bill Eisenhour Blanchard funeral home.
Slusher died Saturday at Norman Municipal hospital after a long illness. He lived in Newcastle for 44 years and moved to Tecumseh in 1976. He was a retired businessman and farmer and a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude, a son, Bill of Lawton, 5 sisters, Mrs Lillie Holt of Oklahoma City, Mrs Minnie Aldridge of Modesto, Calif, Mrs Dona Miller of Seminole, Mrs Birdie Tarwater of Ada, & Mrs Opal Griffin of Stratford, and a granddaughter.
