Died on May 2, 1890, Chesley J. Teague of Beaver Valley, aged about 58 years. The deceased was a prominent citizen of the county, a successful farmer and a Christian gentleman. He had been Superintendent of Education for the county for several years and made an efficient, upright officer. He was a representative of our best men. For the last year or more he had been a constant sufferer from malignant cancer which at last confined him to his room until the day of his death. He leaves a large and interesting family to mourn his death and many friends who will miss him in the walks of life.
