From Chatsorth Plain Dealer January 28, 1887
Harman Traman of Charlotte Twp. died at his home, the old E. G .Trask farm, and was buried in the Chatsworth cemetery this week. Mr. Traman had been a sufferer and invalid from that grim destroyer consumption (tuberculosis) , for a number of years. He was an honest, hard working, industrious and ambitious man and so long as his powers of endurance held out made great efforts toward bettering his condition. He evidently shortened his days by overwork.
