Janet Mackie Anderton, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away March 11, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born April 11, 1922 in Oil City, PA and moved to Garland with her husband, Don, in 1955. Janet is survived by her sons, Steve (Beverly) of Garland, Dan (Shelley) of Ridgefield, CT, Paul (Vickie) of Spring, TX, Jim (Toni) of Sachse and Chuck (Susan) of Garland, and by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Don Anderton, and by her sons Joe and Thomas. A private service for the family will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett.
