Leonora was the daughter of Joseph Pereira Azevedo and Mary Katrina Silva Azevedo.
She was well loved and missed by all who knew her, and her brothers and sister spoke of her often for as long as they lived.
Leonora, her mother and baby brother were buried at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Columbia. However, in 1911, their remains were removed to allow for gold mining.
Their caskets were then interned in Columbia City Cemetery, stacked in one plot.
