She married Herbert Spencer Allan, a merchant, before WWI, and the couple lived in towns in Alameda County, California east of San Francisco and for awhile in Fresno.
The couple had a daughter, Audine, who was born April 29, 1920 in Stanislaus County, California.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gertrude was preceded in death by her uncle, John Coffey, who passed away December 10, 1893, and is buried in this cemetery.
