Reginald Blaber passed away on May 5, 2005, eleven days after sustaining a head injury from falling down a flight of stairs while attending the christening festivities of his twin grandchildren.

Reg was the son of the late Reginald and Josephine Blaber and he was a graduate of Brooklyn Prep and St. Peter's College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a successful salesman for over 30 years, winning numerous awards for his success and professionalism before retiring in 1995.

He married Kathleen Ann Cooney in 1952 and remained happily married until her death in 1987. Together, they raised three children: Kathleen Phelan, Reginald J. Blaber III, MD and Brian Blaber. He married Joanne McCormick in 1993. He is survived by his own three children and Joanne's three children in addition to fifteen grandchildren.

Reg will always be lovingly remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, his sense of humor, compassion and generosity.
