Major League Baseball player. Real name Hyam Soloman. He played second base for the New York Yankees from 1930 to 1931 (during which he was better known as Babe Ruth's roomate on road games), and for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1932. Reese spent most of his career in the Pacific Coast League. At age 71, he was hired as a conditioning coach by the California Angels and held that spot until his death.
