Susan M. (Gagnon) Albert, age 61, of Holyoke died on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of Lucille (Bernard) Gagnon of Holyoke and the late Norman Gagnon, and was educated in the former Precious Blood Schools. Susan was a longtime self-employed antiques dealer. Besides her mother, she leaves two daughters, Lori A. Malave and her fiancé Alexander Maldonado of Holyoke and Sherry A. Mayer of Holyoke, step-daughter Stephanie Bresett of ME, four grandchildren Eliot, Devin, Carson, and Mykayla, her brother Ronald Gagnon of Holyoke, her former husband Julien Albert of Chicopee, and several beloved cousins and friends. A Funeral Home Service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jericho, P.O. Box 1039, Holyoke, MA 01041-1039.
