Neodesha: Charles Anderson 78, of Neodesha, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Services will be held at 2 P. M. Wednesday at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Dickinson, pastor of the United methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Neodesha Cemetery. A memorial has been suggested for the Wilson County Hospital.

Charles Anderson was born March 31, 1912 at Neodesha, the son of Delva and Minnie (Redington) Anderson. On May 28, 1945, he married Genevieve Hoss at Inglewood, California. For 38 years the couple lived in Los Angeles, California where he retired from the Experimental Department of North American Rockwell. He worked extensively with the X - 15 Rocket Program. The couple moved to Neodesha in 1983. She survives at the home.

He was a member of the Neodesha Art Association and was involved in improvements for both the association and the Norman Well No 1 Museum. Also surviving are two brothers Kenneth Anderson of Manhattan and Lonnie Anderson of Neodesha; and two sisters, Dorothy Cook of Independence, Missouri and Joan Hubbard of Manhattan.
