Elmer Keith Ahlstrom, age 73. After a valiant battle with heart ailment complications, Keith returned to his Heavenly Father June 23, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born March 14, 1921 in St. John, Utah to Elmer Harden and Ethel Azalia Russell Ahlstrom. He was the 4th child. He attended Tooele High School. Served his country in World War II. He was high priest in the LDS Church. Served as a Rush Valley Bishop. Retired from the Tooele Valley Hospital where he was maintenance supervisor. Bus driver for 25 years for the Tooele Country School Board.Married Hannah Elaine Bale April 5th 1947 in Elko, Nevada. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include: wife, Elaine; two sons: Verl (Sherrie) Ahlstrom; Floyd (Lori) Ahlstrom; daughter, Mrs. Denny (Wendy) McFarland; ten grandchildren; three brothers: Harden Ladell Ahlstrom, Las Vegas, Nevada; Warren J. Ahlstrom, Rush Valley; Billie R. Ahlstrom, West Valley City. Preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.

Funeral Monday June 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Rush Valley Ward. Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary in Tooele, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial in the St. John Cemetery.
