Alejandra Garcia Alfaro passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 5 days. She was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Floresville to Manuel and Ramona Lairon Garcia. She was a lifelong resident of Floresville and a member of Harvest Christian Church in Floresville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rafael Alfaro Sr. in 2008; and brothers Armando Garcia and Andy Garcia.
Alejandra is survived by 4 daughters, 2 sons, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Al Saldana officiating.
Interment followed in the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville.
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons.
