Owner of Accardo Tackle Co. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 76. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, Feb. 10, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Tim Kerner. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife; daughter and son-in-law; son; a stepdaughter; two stepsons; a brother, Joe Accardo; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Katie Accardo;
sister, Josephine Delgado; two brothers, Sam and Philip Accardo; nephew, Paul J. Accardo; and first wife, Mildred Joyce Banker.
