Actress. Born Margaret Louise Comingore, she began her career performing in a small playhouses billed as Kay Winters when discovered by Charlie Chaplin in 1940. She made her film debut in and was best known for her portrayal of Susan Alexander in Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane" (1941). Her other films included "Hairy Ape" (1944) and "The Big Night" (1951) her last movie.
