CIMARRON– Bruce Ferguson, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at The Shepherd's Center at Cimarron.
He was born July 22, 1922, at Hays to Fred and Bertha May (Upshaw) Ferguson. On May 29, 1946, he married Nora Edith Pittman at Cimarron. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2006.

He came to Cimarron with his parents when he was 8-years old and graduated from Cimarron High School in 1940.
He served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II from October 1942 to March 1946, when he came back to Cimarron. He was a barber and operated Ferguson TV and Repair in Cimarron.

He was a member of Cimarron United Methodist Church of Cimarron.

Survivors include two sons Bob Ferguson, Palm Springs, Calif., and Kent Ferguson, Cimarron; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
