Husband of Bridgid, brother of Thomas F.(St. Patrick's Cemetery)Emmigrated from Waterford Ireland arrived NYC April 14 1866 and became a citizen Oct 1875. Father of eight children, 32 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His son, Daniel Galliher went on to become Father Daniel Galliher, O.P. and founded Providence College as one of its incorporators and also Salve Regina College in Newport, Rhode Island.
