Peter was the 1st child born to my cousin Mary Ann and her husband Peter. He was born one of God's Special Angels. He was a large baby and weighed over 10 lbs. at birth. Due to his size he suffered complications during birth that left him without oxygen resulting in severe brain damage. He was a beautiful baby and very loved by all.

His parents gave him lots of love, took excellent care of him, and at times family members helped. Peter was especially close to his grandfather Quinn. My mother Hilda adored Peter. I took her to visit as often as I could and we spent a lot of time with him.

Peter is survived by his parents Mary Ann and Peter Winiarski III, younger sister Jessica, younger brother Joshua, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Quinn Sr., Paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Peter Winiarski Jr., several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special thank you to OKIESECRET for taking the photo of " Petey's " head stone. It's greatly appreciated.

~ HEAVENS VERY SPECIAL CHILD ~

A meeting was held quite far from earth
It's time again for another birth said the Angels to the Lord above and this child will need much love.
His progress may seem very slow and accomplishments may not show.
And he'll require extra care from the folks he meets way down there.
He may not run, laugh, or play and his thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways he won't adapt and he'll be known as handicapped.
So let's be careful where he's sent for we want his life to be content.
Please Lord find parents who will do a special job for you.
They'll not realize right away the leading role they're asked to play.
But with this child sent from above comes stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they'll know the privilege in caring for this gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge so meek and mild is Heavens very special child.

(This poem by Edna Massimilla was taken from the back of Peter's memorial card.)

~ GOD'S LITTLE ANGELS ~

God sent to us an Angel and it had a broken wing. We bend our heads & wondered how could God do such a thing?
When we ask the Father why he sent this child to us the answer was forthcoming. He said " listen and you will see". My children are all precious and none are like the rest. Each one to me is special and the least is as the best.
I sent each one from Heaven and I place them in the care of those who know my mercy and those with love to spare.
Sometimes I take them back again and sometimes I let them stay. No matter what may happen I'm never far away.
So if you find an Angel and you don't know what to do, just remember I am with you and love is all I ask of you.
