Joe was born in Lamar County to William F. Cannada and Hannah Davis on December 1, 1872.

Joseph married Amanda E. Moroney in Lamar County on 14 Dec 1893 they had three children together.

He passed away 08 Dec 1960.


Obit:
J. E. (Emm) Cannada, 88, farmer-stockman of Roxton, died Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of a son, M. C. Cannada, Sr., Roxton, Rt. 1, after six months illness.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at Roxton Church of Christ, where Mr. Cannada was one of the oldest members. The body will be at the home of his son from 3:30 p. m. until 1 p. m. Saturday, when it will be taken to lie in the church.

The minister, T. W. McWherter; the Rev. Ben Smith, Baptist pastor, and the Rev. A. R. Morgan of the Methodist Church, will officiate, Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home here to make burial in Restland Cemetery, Roxton.

Mr. Cannada, lifelong resident of Roxton vicinity, was born December 1, 1872, son of William Franklin Cannada and his wife, who was Hannah Davis.

He married Miss Amanda Moroney in 1893, her death occurring August 21, 1954. They had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 14, 1953.

He leaves two sons, M. C. Cannada, Sr., Roxton, and W. E. Cannada of Weldon; 35 other descendants, and a sister, Mrs. I. W. Moore, Pawhuska, Okla.
