He was born May 29, 1953 in Fort Myers, FL and came to Lake Wales from Fort Myers in 2004. He worked at the Polk County Property Appraiser's Office and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Cedar Hammock Hunt Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and vegetable gardening.
Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Claude Addison and a daughter, Erika Rose Addison. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Addison; one daughter, Jennifer and Paul Shumway of Eustis; mother, Rose Addison of Lake Wales; two sisters, Priscilla "Noodle" (FMHS 1976) Gleason of Fort Myers and Joyce (FMHS 1972) Landsteiner of Tavernier; two nephews, four nieces and one great-niece.
Visitation was held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
