Josefina (Josephine) Lopez, resident of Richmond, CA, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family at the Bruns House in Alamo. Josephine was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Hartman Mefford
Josephine was born in El Paso, Texas and was a proud graduate of Bowie High School. She moved to California, settling in the East Bay where she raised her family and worked for Bank of America (30 years). She was a member of both the Moose Lodge and Eagles where she enjoyed music, dancing, and her friends. She loved to travel, meet people from different cultures and speak their language.
She was generous to her family and contributed to numerous charities. Josephine lived life to the fullest and will truly be missed.
