Ackenhausen, Hilda M. of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Milton Alfred Ackenhausen; beloved daughter of the late Percy and Olga Winscott; devoted mother of James E. (Janet) Ackenhausen and Robert C. (Nancy) Ackenhausen; cherished grandmother of Douglas R. (Maggie) Ackenhausen, Thomas C. (Shannon) Ackenhausen, and James W. (Samantha) Ackenhausen; treasured greatgrandmother of Connor Ackenhausen, Madalynn Ackenhausen, Hunter Ackenhausen, Aiden Ackenhausen, and Ethan Ackenhausen. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Meyers and her brother Charles (Peggy) Winscott. She is preceded in death by her brother Milton Winscott. Hilda worked for the Army Corp of Engineers during WWII. After the birth of her second son, she became a salesperson for Easter ling China and Silver, as well as a top real estate agent. She made many lifelong friends. Services: The family is being served by The BAUE Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO. A Memorial Service will be held at Breeze Park, on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Family Services.
