Jackie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam War veteran and was a life-member of VFW Post #1114. Jackie was a 1964 graduate of Reitz High School and also received a degree from Lockyear Business College. He worked at Evansville Veneer and Lumber Company for 28 years before his retirement.

Jackie was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing bingo, where he was fondly known as "Bingo Jack".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann Thompson Brown and Daniel Browder Sr.; stepfather, James Earl Brown; and brother, Larry Brown.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Charlotte Stepro Browder; children, Dorothy Arrigo and Shannon Allega and her husband, Jeff, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Danielle and Brittany Arrigo, Jourdan and Ryan Allega and Christian Cain, all of Evansville; brothers, Daniel Jr., Jerry, Jody, James, David and Russell Browder and James, Billy, Tommy, Alfred, Mike and David Brown; sisters, Anna Hatfield, Lisa and Lea Brown, Jena Hilliker, Janice Sams and Jeanie Pendley; and very special friends, Leslie and Gloria Lee and Al and Betty Wilson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lippman, Holly, and the entire staff at Echo Community Health Center for their warm and personal care.
