Motion picture actress. She entered show business after being named Miss Philadelphia in a beauty contest, which led to a role on Broadway in "Burlesque" (1947). After the show closed, she went to Hollywood, with Columbia Studios. She was Charles Starrett's leading lady in "Raiders of Tomahawk Creek" (1950), "The Tougher They Come" (1950), "Stage To Tucson" (1950, as Rod Cameron's leading lady Kate Crocker), "Never Trust a Gambler" (1951), "David and Bathsheba" (1951), "A Millionaire for Christy" (1951) and "I Married a Woman" (1958). She largely retired from acting after marrying agent and studio executive Milton A. Pickman. She was survived by her husband, son, daughter and parents.
