Born in Yekaterinoslav, Russia, he served as editor for tv shows, including "Treasury Men in Action" (16 episodes, 1954-55), "Boots and Saddles" (38 episodes, 1957-58), "Yancey Derringer" (9 episodes, 1959) and "Man With a Camera" (14 episodes, 1958-60). Feature films include "Run For the Hills" (1953), "Speed Crazy" (1959), "Shadow of the Boomerang" (1960), "Operation Bottleneck" (1961), "The Clown and the Kid" (1961) and "Winter A-Go-Go" (1965). Irving Berlin (no apparent relation to the famous same-named composer) died at age 79 at Westside Hospital in Los Angeles of acute renal failure. Survivors included his wife Helen and nephew, Herbert White.
