Former parish priest of Our Lady of Lourdes parish of Rivonia, South Africa, between 1972 and 1987. A compassionate and concerned man, widely read and a gifted photographer. A native of London, he spent almost his entire life in South Africa. Imprisoned in a concentration camp near Turin during the Second World War, managing to escape, for days he crossed mountains and valleys, until reaching his regiment. Back in South Africa, where he was present already before the bellic period, he joined the Oblates there. Called to Rome in 1987 and assigned on the computerization of offices of the General House of his Order, he eventually died there at the Gemelli Polyclinic.
