Faith Hathaway was the daughter of Elizabeth and Vernon Harvey. Her family lived in Mandeville, Louisiana, where she attended high school. Upon graduation, she enlisted in the Army and was scheduled to join on May 28th. But the night before, Faith was abducted and killed. One of her killers was profiled in the book, "Dead Man Walking." The detective who worked on her case, Michael L. Varnado, tells Faith's story, not the killer's, in the book "Victims of Dead Man Walking."
