Shirley Adams, 65, died Saturday. August 28, 2004, at an Abilene medical center.
Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories with Dr. Julian Bridges officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Adams was born to Virginia Lee (Hutchens) and Johnny Cooper on April 26, 1939, in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was a lifelong resident of Abilene, where she worked in food service for Abilene Independent School District.
She married N. T. Adams on April 24, 1966, in Old Mexico.
She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Terry Maxwell and James Maxwell; and daughter, Deborah Marie Adams.
Survivors include her Husband, N. T. Adams of Abilene; a son, Gary Adams of Sweetwater; an adopted son, Nathan Adams of Abilene; seven grandchildren ; and three great-grandchildren.
