Jerry Adams, age 79, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2014. He was born on November 10, 1934 in White City, TX to Auble Venner & Mildred Lucille Adams. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed. He earned his Industrial Engineering Degree from Texas Tech and a MBA from St. Mary's University. He was a Professional Engineer and CCIM member. Mr. Adams was a lifelong Methodist and a Stephen Minister at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jerre M. Adams; 4 children, Terry Adams & wife Sylvia, Alan Adams & wife Stacy, Lee Fairall & wife Lisa, and Laurin Coleman & husband Danny; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, James Adams & wife Pat; sister, Peggy Cooke & husband Bill, and Judy Hopper & husband Rick; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Family Graveside Service will be 9 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park. The Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, 825 E. Basse Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.
