Juanita Joyce Adams, 77, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, February 20, 2011, in an Odessa hospice facility.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Wade Cobb, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born on September 18, 1933, in Brownfield, Texas and married Billy Dean Adams on March 13, 1953 in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2004.
Her joy in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she enjoyed giving to others.
Juanita was member of Knott Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Byron Hill of Stanton; three grandchildren, Rebecca Mathews and husband, Ryan of Gruver, Danielle Burrow and husband, Tim of New Home and Brent Hill and wife, Aimee of Stanton; eight great grandchildren, Coley Ruebush, Cagan Mathews, Briggs Hill, Colt Mathews, Cason Mathews, Addisyn Burrow, Jayton Burrow, and Adley Hill; seven brothers and sisters, Jim Newsom and wife, Georgie of Big Spring, Bob Newsom and wife, Donna of Midland, Nancy Phernetton and husband, Gus of Big Spring, Pennie Lemire and husband, Clay of Sacramento, California, Tommy Newsom and wife, Sherry of Big Spring, Donald Newsom and wife, Kay of Amarillo and Marilyn Grigg and husband, Walter of Houston.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Kenneth Newsom.
