Francie Elizabeth Summers Adcock,a Texas Youth Commission Program Specialist for Residential and Support Services, passed away August 10, 2009, in Round Rock, Texas, from cancer-related complications.

Francie was born two days before Christmas in 1963 in Brownfield, Texas.
In 1983, she married Zachary Carl Adcock in Lubbock.
"She was devoted to her family and enjoyed taking them to their sports activities. Francie enjoyed reading, singing, and listening to music, especially country.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew her,"
Francie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frances and Bill Ramage.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years; their daughter, Audrey Elizabeth Adcock (Born Dec.9,1987 in Tarrant Co,Tx); their son, Drayson Adcock; mother, Teena Gwen Gillham Bell; father, Issac Clayton Summers; sisters, Denise Stumph and Letrice Haggard; brothers, Chad and Brant Summers; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Buena and Carl Adcock; and many nieces; nephews; and other family members.
She was in her 15th year of employment at TYC, but had been helping teens in trouble for more than two decades.
Francie earned her Bachelor's of Psychology from West Texas A&M and soon after became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
She started with TYC in 1992 as a caseworker at McFadden Ranch. There, she became a program administrator and eventually the assistant superintendent.
From 2004 to 2006, she briefly left TYC to work for Dallas County Juvenile Services. When she returned to TYC, she was a parole officer based at the Austin District Office. In 2007, she was promoted to her current position.
