Wayne R. Allmendinger 76 of Rogers passed away September 10, 2014 in Springdale. He was born September 9, 1938 in Hiwasse, Arkansas the son of James and Ruby Gray Allmendinger.

He was a retired Tool and Die Maker. Wayne graduated from Rogers High School 1956, he enjoyed bowling and reading.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Marsha and Ruth Allmendinger and Mary Kathleen Patrick.

Survived by his wife of 55 years Janie Allmendinger of the home they were married May 19, 1959 ; children Steve Allmendinger and Pam Allmendinger both of Rogers; Linda Allmendinger of Fayetteville and Janet Bennett of Gentry; his brother Bill Allmendinger of Stockton, California and his sister Nancy Eddy of North Little Rock; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday; September 16, 2014 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Interment will follow in the Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 Monday at the funeral home.
