Kenneth T. Anderson, passed away in Garden City, KS on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the age of 69. Kenneth was born on July 14, 1945 in Hobart, OK, the son of the late Charles C. Anderson, Sr. and Jessie L. (Hensley) Anderson.

Kenneth graduated from Lone Wolf, OK in 1964. After graduation Kenneth went to work in the oil fields working in southwest Oklahoma and west Texas. He married Joy L. Johnson on May 20, 1968 in Vernon, TX. In 1979 he went to work as a security guard for the Vinita State Hospital and ended working there in 1984. After working at the state hospital Kenneth began his career driving a truck across the United States. He married Patsy Sutton on June 3, 2006 in Pryor, OK. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, singing and playing gospel music and was known to smash a few pop cans. Most of all he loved to be with his family especially his grandkids. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Joy Anderson; one brother Charles Anderson, Jr.; and two sisters: Georgia Sue Wilson and Sarah Louise Bowers.

He is survived by his wife Patsy of the home; one son Dawayne Anderson and wife Karen of Adair, OK; step son Robert Richardson of Colorado Springs, CO; two step daughters: Lucinda Coyne and her husband Steve of Fayetteville, AR and Amanda Beckley and her companion Greg Hands of Holcomb, KS; grandchildren: Maranda Anderson of Vinita, OK, Heath Anderson of Adair, OK Taylor Beckley and Stephen Coyne and 10 other grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Pentecostal Church of God in Pryor, OK on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2PM with Pastor Junior Mullin, presiding. Burial will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery in Pensacola, OK. There will be public visitation on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 3PM to 5PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK.
