FORMER SPEAKERS WIDOW PASSES AWAY IN OTTAWA
Ottawa, Oct 25 - Mrs. Ellen McTavish Anglin, widow of Hon. Timothy Warren Anglin died at the residence of her son, Hon. Francis Anglin, judge of the supreme court, Range Court, this afternoon. She was in her 81st year. her late husband who was founder and editor of The Morning Freeman, St. John, represented Gloucester, N.B. in the House of Commons in the Liberal interests from Confederation until 1878 and was speaker of the Commons from 1874-1878.
She is survived by four sons, Hon. Francis Anglin Ottawa, Arthur W. Anglin, K.C. of Blake, Lash, Anglin and Baell; T.W. Anglin and Basil H. Anglin of New York; and two daughters, Margaret, the famous actress, now Mrs. Howard Hull of New York, and Mrs Thomas Hutchins, wife of Captain Hutchins, U.S.A. navy. The body will be taken to Toronto for burial.
