MRS F.A. ANGLIN DIES, BURIAL IS THURSDAY
Widow of Chief Justice Passes at Ottawa
Mrs. Harriet Isabel Anglin, widow of Rt. Hon F.A. Anglin, late chief justice of Canada, died last night in Ottawa, at the home of her son, Major E.A. Anglin.
Mrs. Anglin, prominent in social welfare service was born at Fraserfield, Ont. and educated in Ottawa and St. Joseph convent in Toronto. She graduated from St. Joseph's in 1887, when she was about 17. Relative of Mother Antoinette, then reverend mother general of the convent, "Hattie" was recalled today as a lovable and well behaved" student. She married in 1892 and moved to Ottawa in 1910.
Besides her son, Major Anglin, now overseas, she is survived by two daugthers, Mrs. C.A. Gray and Mrs. L.P. Sherwood, both of Ottawa, and one sister, Mrs. George Leask of Seyward, B.C. Interment will be at Mount Hope cemetery here on Thursday.
