Mrs. Beverly Baldwin passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the age of 90. Funeral will be held at First Church of the Nazarene in Paris, at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016. Todd Nelson (grandnephew) and Richard Dakin of First Church of the Nazarene will officiate; burial will follow in The Baldwin Family Farm. Visitation hours will be 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM Saturday prior to the service time at 1:00 PM. Named as pallbearers are Pierson Nelson, Steve Bullock, Spencer Bullock, Bill Craft, Cooper Smith, Izabella Baldwin, Sophia Baldwin, Andrew Craft, and Josh Craft.

Mrs. Baldwin was born July 23, 1925 in Meckling, South Dakota to the late V.A. Nelson and Anna May Davis Nelson. She is preceded in death by her husband Miles Ira Baldwin, who married on September 1, 1962; preceded March 26, 1998.

Survived by daughter; Keri Baldwin, Paris, TN; son; LTC Russell (Letitia) Baldwin, Nashville, TN; grandchildren;Isabella and Sophia Baldwin, both of Nashville, TN; sister; Edythe (Gerald) Stewart, Springfield, MO; sisters-in-law; Beatrice Nelson, Lucy Nelson, and Vivian Nelson; host of nieces nephews and friends.

Preceded by sister; Wanda Conger; brothers;Burle Arthur Nelson, Merle Adrian Nelson, Marvin Claude Nelson, Cecil Maurice Nelson, Harland Rex Nelson, Gordon Franklin Nelson, and Carl Wendell Nelson.

Beverly (Bee) graduated from high school from Rapid City, S.D. in 1943. She received her teaching certificate from Parsons College in Fairfield, IA and taught country schools near Salem, IA and Fairfield, IA, while living at home and assisting with farm work. In 1952, she graduated from nursing school as an LPN in Grand Rapids, MI. She practiced nursing in Hastings, MI, Brookhaven, MS, Mountain View, MO, Waynesboro, TN, Dresden, TN, Bonifay, FL, and Paris, TN. After institutional nursing, she did home care until she retired at age 80. In addition to working nights as a nurse, she maintained a home and farmed with her husband. She accepted her Lord as her Savior around age 8 and was baptized in the Missouri River in Meckling, SD. Her interests included gardening, reading, all kinds of needlework, quilting, her grandchildren, and entertaining family and friends on the farm.
