The funeral service for Lillian V. Adams of Springville will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Paul McAdoo will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in northeast Henry County.

Named as pallbearers are John and Jacob Stahl, Jim and Dominic Daquilla, Steve and Mark Adams and Donald Adams Jr.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday.

Adams, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at her residence.

Her husband of 75 years Albert H. Adams survives. They were married on July 23, 1932.

Born Jan. 23, 1916, in Cumberland City, she was a daughter of Walter T. and Susan "Fanny" Welker Clements, both deceased.

Adams was a member of Gilead Baptist Church in Taylor, Mich. She was a March of Dimes volunteer.

In addition to her husband, she leaves one son: Robert G. (Juanita) Adams of Kodak; a daughter-in-law: Karen Adams of Petersburg, Mich.; six grandchildren: Steve (Monica) Adams, Jessica (James) Daquilla, Cathy Harcourt, Jeannine Lacoursiere, Jauiece (John) Stahl and Donald (Kathy) Adams Jr.; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by a son: Donald W. Adams; two sisters: Idelia Nolan and Magalee Doty; and two brothers: Edward and Wilbur Clements.
