He graduated from the Calistoga High School in the class of 1951. He married Lorraine Clark and she passed away in 1995. Later he married Nancy Ruth Fisher.
He started the Evergreen Timber Company, a logging co. in Calistoga. He later established Blakeley Construction Company.
He leaves his wife, Nancy, of Calistoga; four sons; one daughter; three sisters; 15 grandchildren; one great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine, his sisters, Betty, Charlotte, Bonnie; brothers, Lonnie and Les.
