PRINCETON – Helen Naomi Akers, 90, of Princeton, WV, died peacefully early Tuesday morning, April 19, 2011, at Princeton Community Hospital.

She was born July 22, 1920 at Dott, WV, to Cloyd Richard and Lillie Belle Broyles Taylor.

She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Mrs. Akers was a very devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Willard Akers in 1968; three sisters, Virginia Mae Jennings, Margaret Louise Williams and Donnie Pauline Hoye; one brother, James Robert Taylor, whom she adored. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Burial: Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
