Sturla was a son of my cousin, Sigrún Kristinsdóttir, and Erlendur Sigurðsson. He was fond of singing, and would often entertain family and guests with a song to his own guitar accompaniment. The last fifteen years he was a member of the famous male choir "Fóstbræður" performing in Iceland and abroad. Only 52 years old he lost his battle with the cancer. Sturla is sadly missed by his family and friends.
