Pilot. Born at Curitiba, Brazil of French (Alsatian) parents. Hero of the Second World War. Having fled France he engaged in the French forces of the Royal Air force (FAFL). Received the Distinguished Flying Cross. After 1945 industrialist, member of the French Parliament (Gaullist party). Author of popular books about air warfare (The Big Show).
