Mr. Soden was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Bakersfield to Lyle and Lucille (Wylie) Soden.
He worked as a mobile-home salesman and held various other sales positions for 20 years. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He was a resident of Nevada County for eight years.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Soden of Marysville and Scott Soden of Rancho Cucamonga; and daughter, Pam Grimm of Fortuna.
