GUSTAV A. ADOLPHSON
Gustav A. Adolphson, 77, of 730 Wright Ave. was pronounced dead on arrival at Alliance City Hospital at 12:10 a.m. today following six months illness.
Born in Calmar, Sweden, Dec. 28, 1892, he lived in the area for 60 years. His parents were the late John and Marie Adolphson.
Mr. Adolphson retired as an employe of the Hilgreen Lane Co. on 1964.
His wife, Sophie died in October of 1968.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Garnes, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Mount Union Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
