Thomas Adamson, Esq. died at his home in Franklin Township, Monday morning, July 11, aged 84 years, of general debility. Mr. Adamson was a prominent and highly respected citizen; was the first president of American National bank and held the position up until less than a year ago when he resigned on account of failing health. He was a consistent member of the Bethlehem Baptist church, and is survived by two sons, Stephen (Martha), of Waynesburg, and John H. (Caroline) Adamson of Denver, Colorado, and two daughters, Mrs. Freeman (Caroline) Smith, of Wheeling, W. Va., and Mrs. Benjamin (Mary E.) Bell, of Lippencott. Mrs. S. A. Moore, of St. Louis, and Mrs. A. J. Shriver, of Lippencott, are sisters of the deceased.
